It’s a bacterial blend all right. Seems to be much nicer than other ones I’ve used in terms of total species included and shelf life. Used when helping recover filtration on new larger tank after medication. Mostly killed off my decade old cycle 🙁 . Never got to nitrite showing levels of die off but this helped in recovery for sure. Shouldn’t need to regularly add more like they mention, especially if the cycle is established. The instructions are definitely wack. Otherwise solid blend, nitrates are rising at expected levels and waste and detritus is being broken down almost at original efficiency. I’m sure having a backup cycle did some of the lifting though lol. This will be my future go to recommendation to friends when starting a new tank.
