I used this to pump water out of my freezer after cleaning it. Did a great job only draw is when you get about an inch of water it doesn’t sense the water anymore.

We have a fountain that has a pretty shallow water well where the pump sits. That usually means that normal pumps are sucking air when the water level goes down much at all. It gets extremely frustrating to have to have the fountain water topped off in order for the pump to work. However, because this pumps sucks in water from under it, a somewhat lower water level doesn’t affect it (unless the water is practically gone, which I would never let it get that low). The flow rate is very adjustable and works perfectly. The power cord is a very thick three prong cord, which is much better than most small pumps. I would give this pump a 10 if I could!
