I do add liquid co2 to my tank and have plant substrate. I also had an aquarium that was full and cycled.I changed the planting steps up. I added 1/2 of a packet of seeds to a jar of my aquariums water and waited 24 hours. The seeds create a gelatin covering and become a goo. I used a syringe to pull blobs of the seeds out and planted them together under 1/3 inch of substrate.These blobs have a lot of seeds and are hard to separate. They also just hang on to the syringe and do not go in. The suction holds on to the blob while I plant it and then I push the syringe to release the seeds after it’s covered.This helped with getting them under a substrate and having some control.It’s been 2 weeks and my tank has wonderful spots of clover.I would recommend this if you are willing to take extra steps if you have an established tank.

Super happy with this product. Grass grew well, one thing don’t mix both seeds together as the small leaf plants will kill the grass over time. Keep them separated when seeding.
