I had concerns from reading other reviews about these clips being “too loose”, but I think there’s a miscommunication involved…. The 2 plastic parts of each clip fit together nicely and snugly, there is no risk of them separating or opening accidentally. I think what people mean when they mention looseness is that smaller diameter tubes (such as 3/16” airline tubes) will not be gripped in place if you need these clips to fight against gravity. However, if you are not concerned with vertical slippage (as I wasn’t) these clips do a great job at stabilizing the tubes horizontally or from curling up and out of your vessel. I liked them enough to buy a second set.
