Extremely convenient to use, just take it out of the bag and add it straight to the tank. The quality is excellent: very soft texture, ideal grain size, and a beautiful, natural-looking color. By far the best substrate I’ve used. It comes pre-moistened, so you can pour it right in, and any cloudiness clears up really quick. I combined the white sand with fine gravel for a realistic look in my 5-gallon tank. Works perfectly!

Whoever thought of this is a genius! Easy to get out of the bag and into the tank, high quality, super soft and perfect grain size, and the color is super nice and natural looking! But the fact that it has the beneficial bacteria defiantly makes it 100% worth the money! It’s perfect for getting the nitrogen cycle started in a new tank and I would recommend it to anyone, beginner or experienced! I actually already ordered more. (Also, just spend the extra 2 bucks for 10pounds of it, 5pounds isn’t a lot and considering you can get twice the amount for only 2 dollars extra you might as well do it!)
