The solenoid on mine seemed to work just fine. The setup process is a little involved, but there are detailed instructions, in English, that spell it right out for you. I was a little surprised that it felt so well constructed, considering the low price tag and the other reviews, and even more surprised when it worked. Time will tell how good it is, but I don’t see any potential issues. It seems to be a good item.One thing I might offer in closing, in regard to the reviewer whose solenoid leaked is that the working pressure of this valve is 0-70psi. The way a solenoid works is there is a spring that holds a valve closed.When the solenoid is activated, it pulls the valve open, compressing the spring. Small valves have small springs. DC solenoids are usually less powerful than AC ones to boot. As one reviewer mentioned, this is for a paintball sized tank, 70psi. If you were to hook a room temperature 20lb CO2 cylinder up to it at 800psi, it could very well be enough to force the solenoid spring open and let air past. I suggest not doing that!
