These aren’t just cheap, they’re cheap!I bought these knowing they were a low quality light. From the plastic housing, to the switch, to the LEDs, nothing about these are screaming high end, they are, in fact, the bottom of the barrel.But, they’re for a sump, which is only going to have some low light plants, and I could buy two of these for much less than a “cheap but ok” single fixture, which would still have a chance of breaking and no warranty. So I opted to buy two of these, and stash the second one as a backup for when the first one breaks. I don’t need a sunrise/sunset/moonlight timer for the sump. The on/off switch looks about as low quality as you can get, so I wouldn’t plan on relying on it regularly. I have it connected to a WiFi timer so the switch just needs to continue supplying power, I won’t be using the rocker so I don’t need to worry about it breaking.These have flex. I’d have serious doubts that anything longer than the model I purchased won’t bow in the middle.They’re exactly what I thought they would be, and if each one lasts a year it will be worth it, if they each last 6 months I won’t cry. They’re low quality, stickers slapped on the box to cover the original manufacturer name, don’t trust them with your life, and hope they don’t burn out in a month lights.I have no doubt the color will grow buce and anubias, a 5000k spotlight will do that, but it’s not a beautiful color. I doubt the wattage claim is accurate, but I haven’t checked. They don’t claim a high wattage but this is less bright than a 6 watt lid light I’ve got.And I’m ok with that for my use purpose, just make sure you are too.
