The product arrived in time and in good condition. I have a new 20 gallon marine aquarium; and, I added the stuff to my external hang-on filter. I seeded the water with live bacteria; and, added ammonium bicarbonate to the tank. In one week the ammonia level dropped to zero; and, I had a two day increase in nitrite, which fell to zero. I can not say the filter media helped, but it certainty did not hurt. I should add that I had some live rock in the tank. Nevertheless, I never had an aquarium cycle that quickly.
