I like flip-top bottles but have had failures during carbonation (what a mess!). These plastic bottles are easy to fill and cap and they stand up to the carbonation pressure better. I rinse them with a jet spray washer attached to my utility sink and wash them with hot water and dish soap prior to filling. If I had a complaint, it would be that the 1/2-liter bottles can’t be poured into a U.S. pint glass. So, I bought some imperial pint glasses and now get a great pour every time! I prefer white caps because I can write the bottling date as well as brew type. Pictured is traditional English Bitter, bottled on 9/21/2022. They come with 24 black caps, but I prefer the white. I can write on them with a Sharpie and I can easily see any lock rings left behind.

Seller threw in three extra bottles. One has a permanent crease in it because it got a bit crushed during shipping; won’t be using that one. I like these bottles because the volume is 500cc (16.9 oz.) right where the neck meets the body, in that short section of about 1/8″ high.

I loved the product and was using them for my water kefir sales. However, they are so difficult to find on Amazon and the description searched for doesn’t match what Amazon puts up. I finally gave up. Sorry. Thought it was good.
