It is a very good product. Easy and simple to install and use. My four stars is not about the product itself but the type of item as I believe the build of these is pretty standard and the casing and media is good in these. Its just this box style filters have their down falls as do every other type of filter. I used several of these on a single air line and towards the end of the line the air was not strong enough to create a good flow. Thats more a flaw of my pump but I did notice that these reached above water levels as the water evap and this cause the entire system to lose air. I am keeping them and just monitoring my water levels but if your setting up a line for these maybe use them in 20 gallons or larger or take the bottoms off to make them shorted. I do like that I cn take the bottom off for my smaller shrimp tanks. that helped a bit.
