Ice been using these in concert with a Eheim pro 2028 and It has helped greatly cut my algae blooms down to almost nothing and that is without a plecostomus. It is the last stage of my filtration in the purifying process and just popped my old one out and had the project replacement bulb in about 5 minutes without much help. It just unscrews up top and pops right into the top. I took a look inside and it was still clean on the housing 12x for the needed lag time it delivers for the 36 watt. I run one for a 125 gallon tank freshwater. It also is great for helping fish stress claiming to eliminate parasites and unsightly green ect algae. Used in concert with a Plecostomus I could not be happier.

We have had our 12x Turbo Twist for about 2 years now. It has kept our water very clear and our fish healthy. We have only had to replace the bulb once so far. I love this thing. I only wish I would have purchased it years ago.
