These plastic jars are one of the more interesting items I have ordered. They’re advertised as fish bowls, and I’m sure they can be used that way for holding a small fish. However that’s not what I’m going to use them for. I’ll be using them for craft supply storage. These jars have a hole in the top of the lid, with a thin paper/plastic type liner inside that covers the hole but is easily removed. I’m guessing they put the hole there since the jars were designed to hold a small fish, and the hole is for air to be able to get in.But these jars are also advertised to hold a drink inside, so the hole could be for a drinking straw as well. It’s a cute party idea to use it that way, especially for a kid’s party. Or it could also hold candy or party favors. Even a small flower arrangement for the party tables. These jars are pretty sturdy as far as thick enough to be used for almost anything. And the lids are very nice and screw on easily and tightly.The possibilities are endless making these a decent buy. But they’d be a better buy for $19.99 which I think would be the right price for these.
