You would be surprised what a black background can do for your fish’s colors. Many fish like to blend in, and in a darker background their colors come out very nicely. I have a planted tank with some dark slate rocks and the black background makes their colors really pop. If your tank is too bright and bland your fishes colors can look washed out. Like white gravel is one example, use darker natural colors. Hope this helps…

The water vinegar application works really well. It is a two person job though. Use a soft credit card or store card to sqeegee out the bubbles and be patient. I had some RODI water available to mix with the vinegar, so no scum. Not sure why the supplier did not address this install method in his advert. Got the idea from other aquarium owners. As to the product, excellant material.
