We replaced the heater that was in our tank because it just didn’t seem to be warming the tank well enough. I came across this heater which seemed reasonably priced, and read through reviews and felt confident in my purchase. When it came in, my husband “installed” it in the fish tank and mounted the temperature control unit on the wall. The design of it is nice, very user friendly. It’s now been controlling the heat for a week and has kept the tank steadily at 76 degrees fahrenheit. It is a reasonable size for our fish tank which is about 30 maybe 40 gallons (it was given to us so I’m unsure of capacity).

This replaced a heater that was on its way out but had lasted for years. I like the temperature read outs and it seems accurate. I also like that the heater is encased in a plastic shield vs my last one. The only negative so far is that the plastic pieces look and feel cheap. I have a small concern about how long the temperature control button will last because of this. Otherwise, it seems like a good product.
