I bought this to clean a secondhand aquarium I picked up. There looked like there was a lot of algae buildup and the glass wasn’t very clear. I used this along with a mix of vinegar and water and on the really tough spots I used a razor blade to scrape the glass. It came out great and the glass is nice and clear now. I ended up cutting it in half so I could hold it easier and the one half did the whole 50 gallon aquarium.

I bought one of these pads and cut it up with shears into several smaller, 2×3 inch pads. (The shears don’t seem to be damaged in the process.) I use the smaller pads to clean the glass in the aquarium I keep a turtle in, as well as the Powerhead filter.Much cheaper than the price for similar products at local pet supply stores.
