They came healthy and are doing ok. It seems they have sorted out their pecking order and are adjusting well. My only complaint would be they are all so dark in color. I got two very dark blue/purple, one black and one dark red. The dark red one is a bit of a little piggy when it comes to food and I am probably going to have to quarantine her during feeding time to reduce some bloat. I am really enjoying the sorority but you definitely have to have plenty of room for them. I am quite pleased they are not aggressive towards one another during feeding time and while begging for food lol

The fish were in good health and they did try to match my color requests. I think the color request overrode the description as I do not believe the ones I received were crowntails, but they are both very beautiful. They are also larger and I think a bit older than what you might find at a fish shop. But the ones that survived shipping recovered quickly and easily integrated with the other fish I had – other female bettas and other species. I am very happy about that.Unfortunately only two of the four survived the shipping process, which I mostly blame on the shipper. The packaging looked well insulated and standard. It was scheduled to deliver in the morning and instead they changed their route and the poor things were stuck in the hot truck an extra 6+ hours. They refunded the two that did not survive.
