This ammonia remover can be a life saver. Changing water or setting up a new tank can take time. If you want to do it naturally you need to let the water air out the chlorine for 24 hours use uv light or more quickly remove it by boiling it out. And if your water has choramines you need to use one teaspoon of ascorbic acid to every gallon of water to neutralizes residual chlorine and chloramine.This MICROBE-LIFT really helps when you need to make a water change quickly or don’t want the extra hassle. Usually I use reverse osmosis water as I have found this gives the best results for my fish. But this additive is very convenient and you don’t need to use a lot. (1 tsp per 10 gallons which means this will last a long time if you have a smaller tank.) It is also a quick way to deal with ammonia if you don’t have time to change the water immediately.

I got this because I’m trying to cycle a new tank that has a lot of fish in it. I was able to cycle it once but it took 3 months and when I finally had to do a water change it sent the nitro cycle into a tail spin once again… I used this Ammonia remover and my water is nearly perfect again! Keeping in mind this is a band-aid, it will help me to cycle the tank without putting a bunch of stress on my fish while the nitrates get back to healthy levels! That’s worth every penny to me!
