I was worried application would be difficult as I had read some reviews saying it was hard to take the protective film off. The protective film has tabs on it to help you take it off. I have a 29 gallon tank ( 32.25 inches L x 14.25 inches W x 20.63 inches H) the film was slightly bigger, so I just used a box knife to cut the excess off. I just worked my way diagonally with a credit card, and was able to work the bubbles out. Just make sure to spray plenty of water when you put the film on.
