Not sure how new these are, but my LFS sells a lot of supplies including hard jugs similar to these (not sure if from seachem though) and they were pretty surprised seeing a soft tote like this when I came in to fill them with RO water. They seem pretty stiff and even a bit flimsy while dry, but once filled they actually seemed surprisingly sturdy. They’re a bit flexible but retain their overall shape, just don’t expect a foldable “hydro-tote” to stay a perfect cube once it’s full of 5 gallons of water. I love the fact that they fold down into a very compact form when they’re empty, it makes them much easier to store when I’ve used them for water changes and it’s at least easier to chuck them all in the car while taking them to be refilled!They do take longer to empty out than I expected, but then again the actual size of the output hole in the nozzle is very small so this would be expected if I had actually used a brain cell to think about it. I found I could speed emptying it a bit by tipping the jug back and letting air in through the nozzle, then tipping it back and using the new air filling the top of the jug for pressure while squeezing it. You could also probably let it sit on a chair or table and drain into a bucket or something before dumping/pouring into the tank, if you just wanted to use these as storage instead of holding it up above the tank for the water change itself. Overall I’m quite happy with the two of these that I have, and plan on getting a few more.

It’s a little more difficult to carry because it’s very flexible but it was great for a for day move by car as it would take up less and less space. One did come with a hole in it, I bought 2 and I working to get a refund or replacement.
