Works awesome – very powerful for its size. The suction cup is the type that really sticks – not a standard suction cup like on maxijets that suck. Not sure how long it will last, but if it does I will buy these from now on instead of the Koralias that cost double/triple.

The media could not be loaded.I bought this to move around the water in a 40g breeder turtle tank. The reptile waterfall filter didn’t create enough water flow. This power head provides a lot of flow (allowing the filter to clean the water better). Overall I’m happy, but there’s two negatives;1. A loud hum. This thing hums with power.2. The cage around it isn’t very good. There’s large enough gaps to suck in and kill small fish. I lost several rosy red minnow feeders to this mini mangler (it slices, it dices..)

Mine is in a 55 gallon freshwater tank and it provides a lot of current in the aquarium, almost too much. I put mine on a timer to go on 15 minute cycles which works out well. The wavemaker is pretty quiet, a slight rumbling sort of low frequency noise, but nothing obnoxious. The suction cup holds on well and has not given me any trouble.

Powerful water stream with low power consumption. Very compact and with a strong suction cup. It generates a good wave distribution. Certainly a good design, another “Home Run” for Sunsun.
