I recently got into aqua scaping as a hobby and got a betta fish for my tank. I don’t have a ton of experience, so didn’t want to splurge on everything as I wasn’t sure if this is something that I’d stick with. I got these with little expectation and I’m pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t take much to get a lot of the water out of the tank. I do feel like there is a specific nuance needed to make sure the siphon is working to clean, but not acting as a watervac. Took me a couple uses to find that balance. Overall I’m pleased.

The TERA PUMP Nano Aquarium Gravel Cleaner is a great tool for maintaining a small tank like our 10-gallon setup. The built-in filter is a helpful feature that keeps debris from clogging the tube, and the suction cup makes it easy to keep it stable while working. The 1 GPM flow rate is just right for smaller tanks, allowing for efficient cleaning without disturbing the tank inhabitants too much.Having two in the pack is a bonus, as it’s always good to have a backup. Overall, this gravel cleaner is simple to use, BPA-free, and well-suited for smaller aquariums. Highly recommended for nano tank owners!

This set of suction fish tank vacuums works nicely. The squeeze pump helps you get the water pumping nicely. They’re small ones, prefect for our 6 galloon tank. But just because they’re small doesn’t mean they don’t work well. They are powerful enough to suction up the gravel and clean debris very nicely. Tjey look a little cheap, but I was pleasantly impressed by how well they work.
