I had mixed feelings about these. i thought all the different shapes was just a gimmick. All I can say is I added these to the plastic ball types in my outdoor fountain fish pond…. and the water was never clearer after a day or two. You never know with these things. Anything might have made the difference. Weather, sun, plants, etc. ….but it seemed like there was correlation. So I think it’s worth a try.
