It fits my 20 gallon perfect .It’s nice and bright , plant growth definitely works I checked the roots of my plants in less than a week I’ve seen about an inch in growth.I wouldn’t say it water proof but definitely water resistant I accidentally dropped the right corner of it in my tank and it still working perfectly fine .It has a good quality feel to it

I am really inpressed with this LED light. I had an old Perfecto fluorescent light on a 20 gallon fish tank. Initially I was just planning to purchase a new replacement fluorescent bulb but then I realized the cost had come down so much on LED lighting and aquired this for perhaps the cost of one to 2 fluorescent bulbs. It is very easy to assemble and you can plug it into a cheap indoor timer to give it the ability to turn on and off on automatically. The cost for the timer and the light was around $23. Heat from the LED light is noticeably less than from the fluorescent, and no hassles with the infamous flicker that fluorescent bulbs suffer as they age. Also, the colors of my fish and aquarium decor are noticeably more vibrant than under the fluorescent light. Doesn’t quite cover entire tank width but seems to provide ample and excellent lighting. Here’s some pics comparing the light differences.

Great little light for my 15g saltwater QT tank. Super simple, does the job, looks great, and its cheap. Ran perfectly for a couple months before I dropped the light in my tank water for about 15 seconds by accident. Light worked for a day then starting flickering and died. Not the lights fault, it was mine. Ordered a second and I’m back in business.

I just got it but I love how bright it is, my only thing is that there’s no in between, like a dimmer light. There’s smaller lights but there’s no option to have just them on, it’s only on or off. I wish I would have looked at it closer before buying but I’m happy to have a new light, you can actually see in my tank now. It was very easy to use and install, you only have to take it out of the box and plug it in! It appears to be good quality for the price. It’s lightweight and isn’t very wide so there’s plenty of space left. My tank looks like a whole new tank!

Great light for the price. My tank is 29 gallon tall with plants, and the light is plenty bright. An integrated timer would be nice, but the light works fine with the separate timer I was already using. This light replaces a more expensive Current Satellite that amazingly lasted 10 years before it started failing. The Current had programs for different colors, creating storms, etc., but I rarely used those features. I mainly wanted enough brightness and the correct spectrum for my plants. My tank is primarily honey gouramis, and they look good with this light. There might be another LED color combination that would make them look even better, but I’m happy. Plants are doing fine.

So far so good. I’ve only had it a day, but so far it works great on my 55 gallon tank. The colors are great. I hate to say it, but it’s almost too bright. It’s difficult to look at the light directly. The tank really pops in the room and draws your eye due to the light intensity. I was a little worried about the light wanting to bow due to length, but it really doesn’t. It sits nice and low too so it’s out of sight. I am definitely happy with it considering the price versus other aquarium lamps.
