Using this on a small 10 gallon tank with large gravel on the bottom. The manual pump does not create enough suction to pick up particles that have gone below through the gaps in the gravel but is good enough for picking up whatever is on the surface of the gravel.There are multiple attachment heads including one with tiny brush which I particularly like. The other attachments are your regular bits available on almost all other suction devices.For the price, I think this works well. May be weak for a large tank but for small ones its more than enough.
